Joyce Zibro, Broker-Associate and Certified Relocation Professional (CRP), has long been one of the top performing realtors in Kanas City and Johnson County, Kansas. A native of upstate New York, Zibro came to Kanas City in 1972 as Director of an innovative conference center and audio-visual production facility developed by Hallmark Cards, Inc. Prior to her work with Hallmark, she served as Public Relations Director for Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. Simultaneously, she acted as Editor of the Museum's natural history magazine and all non-technical publications.

A one-time newspaper Reporter and Assistant Editor for the Chircago Daily News, Zibro began her business career in the diplomatic service of the U.S. Government, serving as a report writer in the U.S. Embassies in New Zealand and The Republic of the Ivory Coast.

Zibro entered real estate in 1976, and quickly became one of Kansas City's leading realtors. She has been a member of RE/MAX'S 100% Club each year since 1986, achieved Platinum Club Status several years, and membership in RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 1991.

A breast cancer survivor, Zibro serves as a volunteer with The American Cancer Society with the Reach for Recovery program.

In addition to her passion for real estate, Zibro's interests include travel, classical music, and swimming. She has traveled extensively in Eastern and Western Europe, Russia, and the Republic of the former USSR, The South Pacific, Africa, and Central America. She is bilingual in English-French. She is a graduate of the College of New Rochelle, New Rochelle, New York, and holds a Certificate with Honor from the Sorbonne, France.

Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

Loyalty to clients;

Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;

Cooperation with competitors;

Truthfulness in statements and advertising;

and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.


To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry.
